What does my dancer wear to audition?

Ballet class attire is preferred; leotard, tights (socks are fine for the younger ones), hair neatly in bun and off face, pony tails are fine for the young ones.Ballet shoes are O.K. for all auditions, for Tap, please bring your Tap shoes.


Can parents stay and watch auditions?

Parents may stay in the lobby of the studio but all auditions are closed. There are many DRT Members around so you may leave and return at the scheduled audition end time.


What if we are not sure what time/level to audition for?

Please come to the appropriate age group. If that is the incorrect level for your dancer, we will either ask them to stay for the next group audition or place them accordingly. We will make sure your dancer is in the correct dance(s) for the production.


When will we be notified of our dancers role(s)?

You will be emailed on or before Thursday, August 30th.


Will my dancer rehearse every weekend?

No, rehearsals will be contingent on dancers role(s). Some group will rehears more often. The rehearsal schedule will be out for the first month (September) as soon as the show is cast.


Where will rehearsals be held?

All rehearsals will be held at Dance Arts Center Studio in Redwood City. All dress rehearsals and performances will be at the Woodside Performing Arts Center.


What is your ticket exchange/return policy?

Tickets are non refundable.


Is it reserved seating at the theatre?

Yes, all seats are reserved with a row and a seat number.


Are group tickets available?

Yes, groups of 20 or more will receive a discount. Please contact Director for more information.


Can I purchase tickets at the door at the theatre?

Yes, tickets can be purchased at the theatre box office on the day of the performance, 30 minutes prior to that performance start time (if available).
